The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records July 18, 2025 SPR25/2084 Joyce Brennan Vice President of Marketing & Communication Bristol Community College 777 Elsbree Street Fall River, MA 02720 Dear Ms. Brennan: On July 17, 2025, this office received your petition on behalf of the Bristol Community College (College) seeking an extension of time to produce records. G. L. c. 66, § 10(c). As required by law, it is my understanding that the College furnished a copy of the petition to the requestor, Emma Rindlisbacher. G. L. c. 66, § 10(c); G. L. c. 66, § 10(d)(iv)(2). On June 23, 2025, Ms. Rindlisbacher requested “any emails or letters from [an identified individual] regarding [an identified individual]… between Jan 1, 2023 and the date the search was conducted.” Subsequent to the opening of this petition, in an email to the College and this office on July 17, 2025, Ms. Rindlisbacher stated, “I’m fine with the extension of time to respond.” In light of the above, it is unnecessary to opine on the College’s petition seeking an extension of time to produce records.
