G. L. c. 66, § 10(c); G. L. c. 66, § 10(d)(iv); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.06(4). As required by law, it is my understanding that the Town furnished a copy of the petition to the requestor, Eric Jussaume. G. L. c. 66, § 10(c); G. L. c. 66, § 10(d)(iv)(2). On July 9, 2025, Mr. Jussaume requested “all text messages and emails from Jan 1 2025 to July 9th on [an identified individual][.]” Subsequent to the opening of this petition, in an email to the Town and this office on July 18, 2025, Mr. Jussaume stated, “…we are going to disregard the public records request at this time[.]” In light of the decision to withdraw the request, I find it is unnecessary to opine on the Town’s fee petition at this time.
