See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On July 2, 2025, in two separate requests, Mr. Dias requested: SPR25/2141 [A]ll PRS [c]omplaints submitted against the Fall River Public Schools, Fall River, or any [s]chool within the Fall River Public Schools. SPR25/2142 [1] Any PRS complaints filed with DESE that contain the words: [two identified phrases][;] [2] Any Problem Resolution Complaints filed again Durfee High School from the initiation of the PRS complaint system to January 1st, 2016. Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Dias petitioned this office and these appeals, SPR25/2141 and SPR25/2142, were opened as a result. Despite being notified of the opening of these appeals, it remains unclear whether the Department has provided a response. Accordingly, the Department is ordered to provide Mr. Dias with a response to his request, provided in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations within ten (10) business days.
