See G. L. c. 66 § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On June 25, 2025, Mr. Gallagher requested, “[a]ll incident/arrest reports [for] [two identified individual’s] [and] [an identified business] [at] [a specified address] [for] various dates…it is pertaining to a background check on the address as a whole, not a specific incident.” The Department provided a response on July 1, 2025. Unsatisfied with the Department’s response, Mr. Gallagher petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR25/2151, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department provided Mr. Gallagher with an additional response on July 23, 2025. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s July 1st response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Gallagher may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s July 23rd response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
