The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records August 7, 2025 SPR25/2187 Will Pipicelli Communications Director Medford Public Schools 489 Winthrop Street Medford, MA 02155 Dear Mr. Pipicelli: I have received the petition of Maureen Ronayne appealing the response of the Medford Public Schools (School) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On June 16, 2025, Ms. Ronayne requested “…all data, progress monitoring, observations, tests/quizzes, [and] classwork since my last request” for five identified individuals. Previous Appeal This request was the subject of a previous appeal. See SPR25/1992 Determination of the Supervisor of Records (July 24, 2025). In my July 24th determination, I encouraged the School and Ms. Ronayne to continue to communicate in order to facilitate producing records efficiently and affordably. The School responded on July 24, 2025. Unsatisfied with the response, Ms. Ronayne petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR25/2187, was opened as a result. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, the School provided a further response on July 29, 2025. Subsequently, I learned that the School provided Ms. Ronayne with an additional response on August 7, 2025. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the School’s July 24th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Ronayne may appeal the substantive nature of the School’s July 24th response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
