The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records August 20, 2025 SPR25/2325 Michael Sallese Chief of Police Stow Police Department 305 Great Road Stow, MA 01775 Dear Chief Sallese: I have received the petition of Darby Public Info (requestor)appealing the nonresponse of the Stow Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On July 25, 2025, the requestor sought, “the full record for Incident #25-137-OF, which occurred on July 18, 2025, between 9:20 PM and 9:35 PM in Stow, MA.” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, the requestor petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR25/2325, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department provided the requestor with responses on August 6, 2025 and August 11, 2025. It is my understanding that the requestor appealed the Office’s August 6, 2025 response, resulting in a new appeal, which was opened as SPR25/2327. A determination was issued separately for that appeal on August 19, 2025. See SPR25/2327 Determination of the Supervisor of Records (August 19, 2025). Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Darby Public Info One Ashburton Place, Room 1719, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 • (617) 727-2832• Fax: (617) 727-5914 sec.state.ma.us/pre • pre@sec.state.ma.us
