The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records August 19, 2025 SPR25/2352 Shannon O’Donnell Records Access Officer Massachusetts Port Authority One Harborside Drive, Suite 200S East Boston, MA 02128 Dear Ms. O’Donnell: I have received the petition of Brandon Stokes, of 7 NEWS WHDH Boston, appealing the nonresponse of the Massachusetts Port Authority (Authority) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On June 12, 2025, Mr. Stokes requested “Massport surveillance video showing JetBlue 312 skidding into the grass at Logan Airport on 6/12/25.” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Stokes petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR25/2352, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Authority provided Mr. Stokes with a response on August 18, 2025. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Authority’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Stokes may appeal the substantive nature of the Authority’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Brandon Stokes One Ashburton Place, Room 1719, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 • (617) 727-2832 • Fax: (617) 727-5914 sec.state.ma.us/pre • pre@sec.state.ma.us
