See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On August 20, 2025, Mr. Medhaug requested, ... records concerning a motor vehicle repossession that occurred in Plymouth, Massachusetts on or about August 5th, 2025 between 2:30 pm and 3:00 pm local time. The vehicle was a 2020 Honda Accord ... registered to [identified individuals] license plate number ... VIN ... Specifically, I request: [1] Any records, call logs, incident reports, or notifications received by the Plymouth Police Department relating to the repossession of this vehicle; and [2] If no records or notifications were received, a written statement or certification confirming that no such repossession notification was filed with your department on or about the above date. The Department responded on August 21, 2025. Unsatisfied with the response, Mr. Medhaug petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR25/2488, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department provided supplemental responses to Mr. Medhaug by email on August 25, 2025 and August 29, 2025. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s August 21, 2025 response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Medhaug may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s August 25th and August 29th responses within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
