The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records August 28, 2025 SPR25/2520 Michelle (McHale) Charpentier, Esq. Assistant Register Middlesex South Registry of Deeds 208 Cambridge Street Cambridge, MA 02141 Dear Attorney Charpentier: I have received the petition of Chétina Muteba appealing the nonresponse of the Middlesex South Registry of Deeds (Registry) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On August 6, 2025, Chétina Muteba requested, “the deed for … Pond St Winchester MA.” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Chétina Muteba petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR25/2520, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Registry provided Chétina Muteba with a response on August 26, 2025. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Registry’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Chétina Muteba may appeal the substantive nature of the Registry’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Chétina Muteba One Ashburton Place, Room 1719, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 • (617) 727-2832• Fax: (617) 727-5914 sec.state.ma.us/pre • pre@sec.state.ma.us
