See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On August 18, 2025, Ms. McNamara requested, “…any and all correspondence and information related to [an identified individual’s] ‘missing’ or ‘stolen’ cat. The timeframe is July and August 2025.” The Somerset Police Department (Department) responded on behalf of the Town on September 5, 2025. Unsatisfied with the response, Ms. McNamara petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR25/2629, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Town provided a further response on September 8, 2025. Where this appeal was opened based on the Town/Department’s September 5, 2025 response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. If unresolved issues remain, Ms. McNamara may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s September 8th response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
