Marobella Records Access Officer Wayland Public Schools 41 Cochituate Road Wayland, MA 01778 Dear Ms. Marobella: I have received the petition of Jeffrey Sklar appealing the response of the Wayland Public Schools (School) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On August 1, 2025, Mr. Sklar sought the following: [1] Curriculum guides for all math course offered during the 2024-25 school year[;] [2] Pacing guides for all math courses for the 2024-25 school year, indicating the anticipated number of instructional days that were allocated to each unit and topic[;] [3] Math curriculum and pacing guides for all math courses for the upcoming 2025-26 school year. If math curriculum or pacing guides for the upcoming 2025-26 school year for some courses are still in progress, please advise if the remaining materials can be sent on a rolling basis as they become available. The School responded on August 1, August 18, and September 4, 2025. Unsatisfied with the responses, Mr. Sklar petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR25/2647, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the School provided Mr. Sklar with an additional response on September 12, 2025. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the School’s August 1st, August 18th, and September 4th responses, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Sklar may appeal the substantive nature of the School’s September 12th response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
