See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On September 10, 2025, in two separate requests, Mr. Crenshaw requested: SPR25/2808 [R]ecords concerning 911 calls placed within the City of Springfield on April 20, 2025, between the hours of 12:00pm and 5:00pm. [1] Call logs, complaint summaries, or incident reports related to noise disturbances or any incidents on the property lot between Myrtle Street and Oak Street in Indian Orchard, address: … Main Street, Indian Orchard, MA. 01151[;] [2] For each responsive call, please provide the following information if available: Time of the call[;] Type/nature of the complaint[;] General Location (address or block level, as permitted by law)[;]Disposition/status of the call[.] SPR25/2810 [R]ecords concerning 911 calls placed within the City of Springfield on April 24th, 2025, between the hours of 12:00pm and 3:00pm. SPR25/2808 Page 2 October 7, 2025 [2] For each responsive call, please provide the following information if available: Time of the call[;] Type/nature of the complaint[;] General Location (address or block level, as permitted by law)[;] Disposition/status of the call[.] Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Crenshaw petitioned this office and these appeals, SPR25/2808 and SPR25/2810, were opened as a result. Despite being notified of the opening of these appeals, it remains unclear whether the City has provided a response. Accordingly, the City is ordered to provide Mr. Crenshaw with a response to his requests, provided in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations within ten (10) business days. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of the response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us.
