The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records October 6, 2025 SPR25/2813 Michael P. Seery Town Clerk Town of Brookfield 6 Central Street Brookfield, MA 01506 Dear Mr. Seery: I have received the petition of Christopher Kelleher appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Brookfield (Town) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On August 27, 2025, Mr. Kelleher requested the following records: [1] A copy of any written request(s) made by [an identified individual] to attend public meetings remotely in April – August 2025. . .[;] [2] Copies of any Microsoft Teams (or other platform) recordings for the following meetings where [an identified individual] participated remotely: May 28, 2025, 6:00 PM, June 25, 2025, 6:00 PM, July 10, 2025, 6:00 PM. Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Kelleher petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR25/2813, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Town provided Mr. Kelleher with a response on September 29, 2025. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Town’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Kelleher may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
