See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On September 9, 2025, Mr. Dias requested the following records between the dates January 1, 2025 and September 8, 2025: [1] Any text messages to and from New Bedford High School Principal . . . stored in any cell phone operated by . . . (either work or private) that contain the following key words: [1] Collin[;] [2] Colin[;] [3] Dias[;] [4] Fall River[;] [5] School Committee[;] [6] School Board[;] [7] SC[;] [2] Any text messages to and from New Bedford High School Principal Joyce Cardoza [operated by Joyce Cardoza (either work or private)] and the following people: [1] [identified individual] [and 2] [identified individual;] [3] Any emails to and from New Bedford High School Principal . . . and any email that ends in @fallriverschool.org[.] Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Dias petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR25/2974, was opened as a result. Accordingly, the School is ordered to provide Mr. Dias with a response to his request, provided in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations within ten (10) business days. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of the response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us.
