Brooks Jr. appealing the response of the Attleboro Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66 § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On October 10, 2025, Mr. Brooks requested, “copies of all police, fire, EMS, and HAZMAT incident reports, dispatch logs, or related records concerning an emergency medical response at a construction site (Happy Hollow Condominiums) on Mendon Road on Tuesday, May 25, 2025…” The Department responded on October 17, 2025. Unsatisfied with the response, Mr. Brooks petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR25/3044, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department provided Mr. Brooks with a supplemental response on October 23, 2025. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s October 17th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed.
