G. L. c. 66, § 10(c). As required by law, it is my understanding that the City furnished a copy of the petition to the requestor, Lee Kohlenberger, Jr. G. L. c. 66, § 10(c); G. L. c. 66, § 10(d)(iv)(2). On October 27, 2025, Mr. Kohlenberger requested: [1] Any and all emails including information on or including the name [of an identified individual]. I assume the following [six identified] aka’s can be included to cover the use of [an identified individual’s] name[;] [2] [A]ll email sent to and from [an identified individual’s] department issued email. Open Petition This request is currently the subject of a separate fee petition. See SPR25/3300. A determination will be issued separately within five business days of receipt of the petition. Subsequent to the opening of this petition, in an email to the City and this office on November 6, 2025, Mr. Kohlenberger stated, “I’m fine with up to a 60 day extension…” In light of the foregoing, I find it is unnecessary to opine on the City’s petition for an extension of time.
