See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On October 16, 2025, Mr. Ruiz requested the following [P]olicies and procedures for the Orange Police Department of Massachusetts[:] [1] Identification policies and procedures[;] [2] Video evidence policies and procedures[;] [3] Investigation policies and procedures[.] Claiming to not yet have received responsive records Mr. Ruiz petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR25/3387, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department provided Mr. Ruiz with a response dated October 30, 2025. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Ruiz Jr. may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
