See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On November 4, 2025, Mr. Stewart requested “any and all AVL data, including but not limited to GPS coordinates, speed, direction, ignition status, associated with [an identified] Massachusetts State Police trooper for the full 24-hour period of December 1st 2024 from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Stewart petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR25/3439, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department provided Mr. Stewart with a response on December 1, 2025. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Stewart may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
