Perez appealing the response of the City of Lawrence (City) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On October 20, 2025, Ms. Perez requested the following records: [1] The complete and current official job description for “Senior Advisor to the Mayor”, including duties, responsibilities, minimum qualifications, performance evaluation criteria, and the associated salary range or job classification. [2] The original job posting or announcement used to hire the current position holder. [3] Any contract, agreement, or administrative document defining the duties or authority of this position from the date of its creation to the present. [4] Internal documents that formally define the scope of this position in relation to the Office of the Mayor, the Lawrence Redevelopment Authority, and other municipal agencies. The City responded to Ms. Perez’s request on November 21, 2025. Unsatisfied with the City’s response, Ms. Perez petitioned this office, and this appeal SPR25/3485, was opened as a result. Subsequently, the City sent a supplemental response via email to Ms. Perez and this office on November 25, 2025. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the City’s November 21, 2025 response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Perez may appeal the substantive nature of the City’s November 25, 2025 response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
