Coleman appealing the response of the Boston Police Department (Department/BPD) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). SPR25/3847 Page 2 January 7, 2026 [7] [An identified sergeant’s] files: [a] All complaints against her for discriminatory conduct[;] [b] All investigations she conducted involving LGBTQ+ officers[;] [c] Training records on EEO/discrimination[;] [8] All witness files: [a] All IAD records [from five identified individuals][.] Previous Appeal The requested records were the subject of a previous appeal. See SPR25/3647 Determination of the Supervisor of Records (December 24, 2025). In my December 24th determination, I ordered the Department to provide Mr. Coleman with a response to his request. The Department responded on December 23, 2025. Unsatisfied with the Department’s response, Mr. Coleman petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR25/3847, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department provided Mr. Coleman with a supplemental response on December 31, 2025. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s December 23rd response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. If issues remain unresolved, Mr. Coleman may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s December 31st response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
