The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records January 7, 2026 SPR25/3856 Janet B. Uttaro Sr. Administrative Clerk-Records Falmouth Police Department 750 Main Street Falmouth, MA 02540 Dear Ms. Uttaro: I have received the petition of Daralyn Heywood appealing the response of the Falmouth Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On December 13, 2025, Ms. Heywood requested “[t]he OUI arrest report of [an identified individual] on or about Sept 20, 2025, to include bail paperwork.” The Department responded on December 15, 2025. Unsatisfied with the Department’s response, Ms. Heywood petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR25/3856, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department provided Ms. Heywood with a supplemental response on January 7, 2026. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s December 15th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Heywood may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s January 7th response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Daralyn Heywood One Ashburton Place, Room 1719, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 • (617) 727-2832• Fax: (617) 727-5914 sec.state.ma.us/pre • pre@sec.state.ma.us
