G. L. c. 66, § 10(c); G. L. c. 66, § 10(d)(iv); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.06(4). As required by law, I understand that the City furnished a copy of this petition to the requestor, Tony Mazzucco. G. L. c. 66, § 10(c); G. L. c. 66, § 10(d)(iv)(2). On January 5, 2025, Mr. Mazzucco requested the following: For the most recently settled police and fire collective bargaining agreements, please provide: [1] Cost-out sheets, fiscal impact statements, or financial analyses prepared by or for the municipality that estimate the total or annualized cost of the agreement, including but not limited to: o Base wage increases o Step or longevity adjustments o Stipends, incentives, or differentials o Overtime-related cost estimates o Benefit-related cost changes (where calculated) [2] Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs), side letters, or settlement agreements executed in connection with the collective bargaining agreement, including those addressing compensation, benefits, or working conditions. [3] Any documents used to present or justify the fiscal impact of the agreement to the appointing authority, governing body, or legislative body (e.g., select board, town meeting, city council), including summaries or briefing memoranda. In an email to the City on January 21, 2026, Mr. Mazzucco stated, “I am comfortable with whatever time extension you need, I am aware of how challenging records can be to compile. Please take the time you need.” In light of the above, I find it is unnecessary to opine on the City’s petition for an extension of time.
