See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On January 2, 2026, Mr. Acevedo requested “[a]ll bodycam footage for the Incident at [an identified location] Chicopee Massachusetts on the date of December 20, 2025 at 2033 hour.” The Department responded on January 5, 2026. Unsatisfied with the Department’s response, Mr. Acevedo petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR26/0169, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department provided Mr. Acevedo with a supplemental response on January 21, 2026. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s January 5th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. If issues remain unresolved, Mr. Acevedo may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s January 21st response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
