The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records February 6, 2026 SPR26/0397 Regan Lemay Chief Assesor Town of Chelmsford 50 Billerica Road Chelmsford, MA 01824 Dear Ms. Lemay: I have received the petition of Stanley Mazurczyk appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Chelmsford, Assessors Department (Department) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On Janaury 20, 2026, Mr. Mazurczyk requested, “[the] FY26 valuation card for [an identified location] and five (5) valuation cards of comparable properties assessors used to assess [an identified location].” Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Mazurczyk petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR26/0397, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department provided Mr. Mazurczyk with a response on February 5, 2026. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Mazurczyk may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Stanley Mazurczyk One Ashburton Place, Room 1719, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 • (617) 727-2832• Fax: (617) 727-5914 sec.state.ma.us/pre • pre@sec.state.ma.us
