Records Access Officer Worcester County District Attorney’s Office 225 Main Street, G301 Worcester, MA 01608 Dear Attorney Relation: I have received the petition of FilmThePoliceUSA (requester) appealing the nonresponse of the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office (Office) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On November 21, 2025, the requester requested the following: [1] Current written policies, procedures, guidelines, or memoranda that govern updates, removals, additions, or restructuring of any publicly accessible website content. This may include, but is not limited to, changes made to online pages such as “Resources” and its corresponding subpages, “Contact” information pages, posted documents, and any other public online materials[;] [2] Records sufficient to show the current workflow this agency follows for making changes to the public-facing website. Examples of such records may include but are not limited to internal routing, required approvals, sign-off authority, and the sequence of steps followed from submission of a requested change through deployment on the website[;] [3] Records that identify the individuals or offices currently responsible for managing, reviewing, approving, and publishing updates to the public-facing website. Identifying information may be provided in the form of job titles, roles, or organizational units. SPR26/0426 Page 2 February 19, 2026 requests from the public—including but not limited to requests to add or restore online resources—are received, evaluated, and processed[;] [5] Records sufficient to show any system, platform, or tool used to manage website updates, including versioning, change logs, deployment logs, or other documentation that reflects what the system tracks and who has access to it[.] Claiming to not yet have received a response, the requester petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR26/0426, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Office intends on providing a written response to the requester. Accordingly, the Office is ordered to provide the requester with said response in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Regulations and this order within ten business days. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of the response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us.
