See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On February 17, 2026, Ms. Treffeisen requested a “…copy of the police report regarding the Haverhill school custodian incident, in which [an identified individual] was found filming inside the women’s bathroom? I believe he was arrested on Feb. 3.” The Department responded on February 17, 2026. Unsatisfied with the response, Ms. Treffeisen petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR26/0564, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department provided a further response to Ms. Treffeisen on February 19, 2026. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s February 17th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Treffeisen may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s February 19th response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
