See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On January 8, 2026, Mr. Balestracci requested, “[a]ll Internal Affairs Reports and supporting documents related to [an identified officer and badge number] . . .” The Department responded on January 8, 2026 and February 17, 2026. Unsatisfied with the Department’s responses, and claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Balestracci petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR26/0810, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department provided Mr. Balestracci with a response on March 12, 2026, which included responsive records. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s January 8, 2026 and February 17, 2026 responses, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Balestracci may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s March 12, 2026 response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
