Records Access Officer Board of Registration in Medicine 200 Harvard Mill Square Wakefield, MA 01880 Dear Attorney Douglas: I have received the petition of Karen Reilly appealing the nonresponse of the Board of Registration in Medicine (Board) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On February 12, 2026, Ms. Reilly requested records related to an [identified Board of Registration in Medicine complaint]. Specifically, Ms. Reilly sought: [1] [C]omplete and entire [an identified case file], including but not limited to, the information and records relied upon to render the Board’s decision to conclude unnecessary discipline[;] [2] [C]opies of the dated and timed Meeting Minutes approved by the Board; motions made and votes taken, by whom; decisions reached with reasons and conclusions, by whom; names of Board attendees present, et al.[.] Claiming to not yet have received a response, Ms. Reilly petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR26/0934, was opened as a result. Despite being notified of the opening of this appeal, it remains unclear whether the Board has provided a response. Accordingly, the Board is ordered to provide Ms. Reilly with a response to her request, provided in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations within ten (10) business days. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of the response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Ms. Reilly may appeal the substantive nature of the Board’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
