G. L. c. 66, § 10(c); G. L. c. 66, § 10(d)(iv); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.06(4). As required by law, it is my understanding that the City furnished a copy of the petition to the requestor, Carl Shaw. G. L. c. 66, § 10(c); G. L.c. 66, § 10(d)(iv)(2). On March 4, 2026, Mr. Shaw requested, “[an identified individual]’s sent and received emails for December 1, 2025 through February 2, 2026. By 2pm on March 5, 2026.” Subsequently, in an email to the City on March 18, 2026, Mr. Shaw states, “[t]hank you for your assistance. I accept the new date deadline.” In light of the above, it is unnecessary to opine on the Department’s petition seeking an extension of time to produce records.
