G. L. c. 66, § 10(c); G. L. c. 66, § 10(d)(iv); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.06(4). As required by law, it is my understanding that the City furnished a copy of the petition to the requestor, Shannon Mapp. G. L. c. 66, § 10(c); G. L.c. 66, § 10(d)(iv)(2). On March 12, 2026, Ms. Mapp requested, “all BWC regarding [an identified case].” Subsequent to the opening of this case, Ms. Mapp sent an email to the City on March 27, 2026, stating that, “[y]ou may close this request. We aren’t interested in purchasing this additional BWC.” In light of the above, it is unnecessary to opine on the Department’s petition for an extension of time and to charge for segregating or redacting responsive records.
