See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On March 31, 2026, Ms. Valentino requested, “[an identified] detective[’s] . . . entire file on the death of [an identified individual] that occurred on December 16, 2025[.]” The Department provided a response on April 10, 2026. Unsatisfied with the Department’s response, Ms. Valentino petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR26/1314, was opened as a result. Subsequently, in an email to this office on April 14, 2026, Ms. Valentino stated, “[t]he Saugus Police Department and I resolved the issue. . . . I ask you close . . . [SPR26/]1314[.]” Accordingly, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed.
