See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On March 25, 2026, Mr. Dias requested “[a]ny [c]omplaint or letter, along with any supporting documentation filed by [an identified individual] with DESE on or around February 17th, 2026[.]” Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Dias petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR26/1394, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department provided Mr. Dias with a response on April 15, 2026. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the City’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Dias may appeal the substantive nature of the City’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
