Heredia appealing the nonresponse of the Boston Housing Authority (Authority) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On March 26, 2026, Mr. Heredia requested the following: [1] Any and all records reflecting my employment separation from the Boston Housing Authority, including but not limited to separation status (e.g., termination, resignation, or voluntary separation)[;] [2] Any documents, fonns, or communications provided by Boston Housing Authority to any third party or government agency that reference or describe the nature of my separation from employment[;] [3] Any internal records, memoranda, or reports reflecting the classification or reason for my separation[;] [4] This request includes, but is not limited to, records maintained by Human Resources, Labor Relations, or any supervisory personnel[.] Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Heredia petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR26/1569 was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Authority provided Mr. Heredia with a response on April 28, 2026. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Authority’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. It is my understanding that Mr. Heredia has appealed the Authority’s April 28th response resulting in a new appeal which is currently opened as SPR26/1599.
