The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records May 6, 2026 SPR26/1681 Shaun Woods Chief of Police Tyngsborough Police Department 20 Westford Road Tyngsborough, MA 01879 Dear Chief Woods: I have received the petition of Brandon Stokes appealing the nonresponse of the Tyngsborough Police Department (Town) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On March 31, 2026, Mr. Stokes requested “Tyngsborough Police photographs of investigators looking at a patched garage floor and subsequently digging up the floor at the Audrey Avenue home of [an identified individual] on 3/15/26.” Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Stokes petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR26/1681, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Town provided Mr. Stokes with a response on May 5, 2026. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Town’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Stokes may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Brandon Stokes One Ashburton Place, Room 1719, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 • (617) 727-2832• Fax: (617) 727-5914 sec.state.ma.us/pre • pre@sec.state.ma.us
