See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On April 9, 2026, Mr. Fairley requested records involving [an identified individual] from January 22, 2025. Specifically, Mr. Fairley requested “Body-Worn and/or Cruiser-Mounted Camera Video or traffic stop/arrest[.]” Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Fairley petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR26/2012, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department provided Mr. Fairley with a response on May 29, 2026. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Fairley may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
