The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records June 18, 2026 SPR26/2315 Marsha Geronaitis Records Access Officer Town of Weymouth 75 Middle Street Weymouth, MA 02189 Dear Ms. Geronaitis: I have received the petition of Commonwealth Transparency (requestor) appealing the response of the Town of Weymouth (Town) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On May 4, 2026, the requestor sought the following records between January 1, 2023 and April 17, 2026: [1] Any insurance policy(ies), including declarations pages, exclusions, list(s) of covered locations and values, and/or any other documents in your possession or under your control for the risks of loss related to torts: theft of, damage to and destruction of assets; errors and omissions; and natural disasters. This request specifically includes but is not limited to policies for the following specific perils/coverages: [a] Common Contract Conditions[;] Auto Liability[;] Auto Physical Damage[;] Cyber Liability Coverage[;] General Liability[;] Property[;] Crime[;] Equipment Breakdown[;] Public Officials Liability[;] Law Enforcement Liability[;] School Board Liability[;] Workers’ Compensation[;] Umbrella/Excess Liability[.] Prior Appeal This request was the subject of a prior appeal. See SPR26/1899 Determination of the Supervisor of Records (June 2, 2026). In my June 2nd determination, I ordered the Town to provide a response to the request. The Town responded on June 2, 2026. Unsatisfied with the response, the requestor petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR26/2315, was opened as a result. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Town’s June 2nd response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. The requestor may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s June 18th response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
